INVISIBLE COMIC RESEARCH WORKSHOP

The Invisible Comic Investigation Workshopis the Research Group originated from the UFC Comics Workshop. The group, which involves undergraduate and graduate students, is coordinated by Professor Doctor Ricardo Jorge de Lucena Lucas and aims to discuss the potential of comics as an object of research in the field of Communication and related areas and as a form of artistic, media, academic expression, etc. Activities began in 2019, with the event Cycle of Debates in Comics, held monthly with the presence of researchers and professors from different areas (Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Law, Cinema, Sociology, etc.). At the same time, the group reflected the participation of undergraduate and graduate students in thematic events, such as the International Comic Book Conference (ECA-USP).
